At The Counter, you build your burger the way you like (or go with the many "expert builds"). There are a lot of options to choose from but each one adds up, like adding sauce for 50 cents or cheese for an extra dollar. Want a "premium" topping? Add another $1. What started as a $9 burger could easily cost you $14 and that's not including sides or a drink. The burger was okay, nothing extraordinary so it definitely wasn't worth its price.
My recommendation: With so many burger options around town, I'd pass on this place.
