James Coney Island, or now JCI Grill, has been around Houston for a long time, so I'm surprised to find that there are still some Houston-raised people who have never tried this place. Initially they only served hot dogs (and the many different varies of it) but have since expanded to burgers, etc. The hot dogs aren't even that great but I go for one thing, the chili. It's made with chunks of beef steak with the option of getting it with beans and/or cheese. Personally, I leave the beans out and get the Fritos pie, with the Fritos on the side. Oh, and you gotta top it with their own hot sauce.
My recommendation: Go here for your fast food chili craving. (Wendy's chili is no match for this.)
